Divisibility of prime numbers

A prime number is divisible by one and itself.

What are the prime numbers less than 30?

Simple examples of divisibility of prime numbers

Example 1.

The prime number 2 is divisible by one and itself

2 ÷ 2 = 1
2 ÷ 1 = 2

The prime number 2 is exactly divisible by 1 and 2.

The prime number 29 is divisible by one and itself

29 ÷ 29 = 1

Example 3.

The prime number 17 is exactly divisible by 1 and 17.

Example 4.

The prime number 181 is divisible by one and itself

181 ÷ 181 = 1
181 ÷ 1 = 181

The prime number 181 is exactly divisible by 1 and 181.

Example 5.

The prime number 997 is divisible by one and itself

997 ÷ 997 = 1
