Standard form of polynomials with two variables

A polynomial with two variables is in standard form if:

1. it does not contain like terms (monomials);
2. the polynomial terms (monomials) are written by descending degree.

Examples of standard form of polynomials with two variables:

7a + 5b
7a2 + 2b
7a2 + 2b + 5
7a5b4 + 2a3b2
7a5b4 + 2a3b2 + 2a2b + 99
